Math Workshop

In our math workshop, we will be working to become mathematicians rather than just math students.  What's the difference?  Math students seek to correctly complete a problem.  On the other hand, mathematicians not only seek a correct answer but also seek to gain an understanding of what they strategies they used, talk to other mathematicians about their thinking, and investigate other strategies and answers.

The following is a calendar of mathematics units we will complete during the school year along with resources and online activities to support our classroom learning.  This list will be modified throughout the school year as I gather more resources!
